نظراً لشحّ المحتوى العربي على الإنترنت، نسبةً إلى التضخّم الهائل في عدد مستخدمي الإنترنت من الوطن العربي، اختار موقع سطر اللغة العربية إيماناً منه بقدرته على إثراء المحتوى العربي. قد تتشابه المواضيع المتناولة في بعض المواقع الإلكترونية، لكن ما يميّز "سطر" هو طرح المعلومة الأغرب والأطرف، وعرضها على شكل صورة أو فيديو بكلمات سلسة وبأسلوب شيّق وممتع يخلو من السرد المملّ لمنح القارئ المختصر المفيد، وهي الآلية التي تلائم عصر السرعة الذي نشهده.
